The FX-980 is the fastest, and most highly specified narrow carriage printer in Epson's 9 pin Dot Matrix range.
Capable of printing 569 cps in high speed draft, with the ability to handle up to 7 multi-part forms increasing both efficiency and productivity. The FX-980 features advanced paper-handling capabilities. Fitted as standard with a rear push, front push/top pull tractor and a front and rear paper guide, the FX-980 can print on a wide variety of stationery. The addition of the optional paper handling accessories further enhances the versatility of the FX-980 to enable the stacking of up to 200 single sheets, envelopes or labels. Paper can be loaded from the top, front, rear or bottom ensuring maximum flexibility for the user. The printer comes as standard with both parallel and serial interfaces. An Epson Type B Print Server allows easy integration with a wide range of different connectivity options including a full range of network configurations.
