The Epson LQ-1070 is the wide carriage version of the LQ-570. Both printers are 24-pin impact printers. The EPSON LQ-1070 dot matrix printers support the ESC/P2 command language which offers scalable fonts and enhanced graphics. The printers also have versatile paper handling allowing the user to select one of 4 paper paths. The printers have two sets of DIP (Dual In-line Package) switches located on the front panel.
