The T610 prints at up to 15 pages per minute, with less than a 12-second wait for the first print. It prints with a clean resolution of 1200x1200 dpi on a wide variety of media. Media choices include plain paper, envelopes, cardstock, transparencies, and paper, vinyl or polyester labels. Paper is pulled from a 350-sheet capacity paper tray, and among the many optional features offered by Lexmark are 250-, 500-, or 2000-sheet input drawers that increase the overall paper capacity to 3350 sheets. An optional duplex unit will also allow you to make double-sided prints.

The standard cartridge has an average output of 10, 000 pages, and the printer has an overall duty cycle of 65, 000 pages per month. The T610 supports Windows 95/98 and NT, OS/2, UNIX, Macintosh (optional), and DOS, and is compatible with PostScript 3 and Hewlett-Packard PCL6 emulations, as well as PPDS Migration Tool. Both Token Ring and Ethernet networking are available as options, and Lexmark also includes MarkVision network printer management software.
